Disable XP Firewall

Click Start > Control panel:

Double click on Network connections:

Right click the connection you use for the internet and choose properties:

Click the advanced tab and make sure there is no tick next to the Internet Connection Firewall:

Note you may want to use a third party firewall if you are disabling the XP firewall.
