Torrent is a form of file sharing, it works on a similar method as Edonkey/Overnet basically it takes the files you're sharing and splits into it into lots of different parts lets say part 1-10, so 5 people download it, person 1 gets part 1, person 2 gets part 2 etc. Once you have completed them parts you get the next part, but now your not relaying on the original source as person 1 has part 1 so you can get that part from them and part 6 from original source, so eventually you can get the full file, this also saves on everyone upload bandwidth.
The torrent file itself is usually very small about 15kb but the file it downloads can be anywhere from 1kb to many thousands of GB's A torrent relays mostly on seeders, hence why when you download our torrents we ask that you seed them until your ratio is at least 1:1 You can find our torrent here
