/msg NickName (message)
* Examples:
/msg Animestar (message)
/msg DigiPokeMon (message)
/msg Xero (message)
/msg AquaFox (message)

- Where it says the trigger. Enter that in the command line at the bottom of the screen.
- That will bring up a fserv window, that which will allow you to queue up and download files
For more info check out our to Download page on our site
Q: Why are some servers not working?
A:
- Some fservers are behind a firewall/router.
- To Access them you need to type /dccserver +sc on 59 or whatever the fserver is set to
- If that doesn't work, that means you are also behind a firewall/router
Or
-Some fservers are Voice Restricted. To gain access you need to start a fserve.
Once your fserver is working, type !voiceme to get voiced.
Be careful no fake fservs.
We check fservers to make sure they work, and if they are fakes used to gain a
voice, we will ban the user from Cartoon-world.
Q: How do I setup a fserv?
A:
- Try reading through the SysReset/UPP setup guide
- Be sure that you checked the channel rules and you are not violating any of them
- It is always good to ask an OP or a voice user you know before starting the server. They can give you help on any matter regarding your newly setup fserv.
Q: What do the signs before some nick names mean?
A:
+ - the plus sign means that the user has a voice. That shows that he/she has a fserv. He/She has access to voice restricted servers. In some channel only voiced users are able to chat, which is not the case in #cartoon-world.
% - the percentage sign means that the user is "Half Operator", often referred as "HalfOp" or "HOp". He/She is chosen to look after the channel and protect it from bad users. In #cartoon-world most of the people with % are encoders, who make sure that you get your weekly episodes in time. Be careful and don't abuse them, because they can easily kick or ban you. HOps can't make other users Half Operators, and they can't kick people with higher status than theirs.
@ - the "at" sign means that the user is a "Operator", often referred as "Op". An Op can do everything that a HOp can plus he/she can make users HOps and Ops, and also kick HOps and Ops. In #cartoon-world all Ops are encoding shows. They still can't kick people with higher status than theirs.
& - the ampersand sign means that the user is "Admin Operator" or "Protected", often referred as "SOp" or "AOp". A SOp can't be kicked by an Op, but they can't make other users SOps as well.
~ - the tilde sign means that the user is a channel owner, often referred as "Owner" or "QOp". They can do everything in the channel. The founders of Cartoon-World are Animestar and Clone so they are the only ones who have the ultimate power in #cartoon-world.
